APPLE PIE DIP w/ Cinnamon Pie Crust Chips! is one of my all-time favorite foods, After doing some research I found this recipe and I have made it in the past and it is absolutely delicious!







What You'll Need



    Apple Pie Dip

  • Four Large apples, sliced
  • One Lemon, juiced
  • Two tsp Cinnamon
  • One half tsp Apple Pie Spice
  • Two tbsp Light brown sugar
  • Two tbsp All-purpose flour
  • Two tbsp Maple syrup
  • For the Pie Chips

  • Four C Vegetable oil
  • One half of a Refrigerated pie crust
  • One tbsp Butter
  • Two tbsp Granulated sugar
  • One tbsp Cinnamon

How to Make It

    Prepare the pie filling first.

  1. Peel and slice your apples into small pieces.
  2. Place in a medium size saucepan.
  3. Squeeze the juice from a whole lemon over the apples.
  4. Add all of your dry ingredients: flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and apple pie spice.
  5. Mix all ingredients well and then add maple syrup.
  6. Using a saucepan on medium high heat, cook the apples for about 10-15 minutes until they begin to brown and bubble. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  7. Refrigerate if necessary.
  8. To prepare the pie chips

  9. Heat oil in a medium sized saucepan until it reaches 365°.
  10. Proceed with caution as oil is very hot.
  11. Remove one of the two refrigerated pie crusts and slice into small squares, about 1-2” wide.
  12. Place a few pieces of pie crust in hot oil for 30 seconds and flip over.
  13. Cook for another 30 seconds until golden brown.
  14. Remove pie crusts from oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drip off excess oil.
  15. Allow to cool.
  16. Once all crust has been deep fried, lightly brush with melted butter.
  17. Place pie chips in a large Ziploc bag with cinnamon and sugar.
  18. Gently shake to coat.
  19. As an alternative to deep-frying, you can also cook the pie crust chips in the oven on 350° for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
