Pumpkin Donuts

This is one of my all-time favorite foods, After doing some research I found this recipe and I have made it in the past and it is absolutely delicious!




What You'll Need



  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/3 cup Apple Sauce
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 ½ Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • ½ Tsp. Nutmeg
  • A pinch of Salt
  • 1 ½ cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • Cinnamon Sugar (mix cinnamon with white sugar)

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease donut or cupcake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, vanilla, oil, apple sauce, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add baking powder, spices, and pumpkin.
  4. Gradually add flour, mixing until a thick batter forms.
  5. Fill pans ¾ full and bake until a toothpick comes out clean. Approximately 15 minutes for mini donuts and 25 minutes for regular donuts.
  6. Once donuts are almost cool, remove from pans. Coat donuts with cinnamon sugar and serve.
  7. Note: Makes about 1 dozen regular donuts or 6 regular and 1 dozen minis.
