Pumpkin Donuts
This is one of my all-time favorite foods, After doing some research I found this recipe and I have made it in the past and it is absolutely delicious!
What You'll Need
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
- 1/3 cup Apple Sauce
- 2 Eggs
- 1 ½ Tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp. Cinnamon
- ½ Tsp. Nutmeg
- A pinch of Salt
- 1 ½ cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1 ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
- Cinnamon Sugar (mix cinnamon with white sugar)
How to Make It
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease donut or cupcake pans.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, vanilla, oil, apple sauce, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Add baking powder, spices, and pumpkin.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a thick batter forms.
- Fill pans ¾ full and bake until a toothpick comes out clean. Approximately 15 minutes for mini donuts and 25 minutes for regular donuts.
- Once donuts are almost cool, remove from pans. Coat donuts with cinnamon sugar and serve.
- Note: Makes about 1 dozen regular donuts or 6 regular and 1 dozen minis.
