No Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars

No Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars! is one of my all-time favorite foods, After doing some research I found this recipe and I have made it in the past and it is absolutely delicious!

What You'll Need

  • One half cup (One stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • three quarter cup packed light brown sugar
  • One tsp vanilla extract
  • Two cups all purpose flour
  • One (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12-ounce bag (about Two cups) mini chocolate chips
  • frosting

  • 12-ounce bag of semi sweet chocolate chips

How to Make It

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
  2. I use my stand mixer, but you don't have to. Just beat it really good so it's light and creamy.
  3. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as necessary.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Beat in the condensed milk and the flour, alternately, mixing after each addition.
  6. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spray a 8x8 square baking pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper with long ends so you can lift out the bars for easy cutting later.
  8. You can skip the paper if you want to cut and serve them right out of the pan.
  9. Turn the dough out into the pan and pat down evenly with your hands.
  10. You may want to flour your hands as the dough is sticky.
  11. Smooth it out evenly, I used an offset spatula to finish the job.
  12. Cover and refrigerate until firm, (about 3 hours) or even overnight if you like.
  13. To make the chocolate topping, put the semi sweet chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup and microwave for one minute.
  14. Stir, and then return to the microwave for short bursts of 15 seconds until the chocolate is totally smooth and melted. Don't over heat.
  15. Let the chocolate cool for about 5 minutes, and then pour onto the dough.
  16. Spread out evenly. Return to the refrigerator until the topping is firm.
  17. Cut into 16 squares.
  18. Keep the bars in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
