Marshmallow Frosting

This is one of my all-time favorite foods, After doing some research I found this recipe and I have made it in the past and it is absolutely delicious!




What You'll Need



  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups marshmallows,cut in fourths for easier melting

How to Make It

  1. Place egg whites, sugar, corn syrup and water in the top of a double boiler.
  2. Beat with a handheld electric mixer for about 1 minute.
  3. Place pan over boiling water. Make sure the boiling water does not touch the bottom of the pan.
  4. Beat constantly with an electric mixer on high speed for 7-8 minutes, or until it is stiff and glossy.
  5. Beat in vanilla and marshmallows.
  6. Continue beating until marshmallows are melted and frosting is smooth, about 2 minutes.
  7. Use immediately.
